HandyHelp
Our referenced and CRB-checked Handyperson will make an appointment to visit you at home to discuss the work you’d like carried out.
The kinds of small jobs and repairs that our Handyman can do for you include the following (but this is not an exhaustive list):
- Limited brickwork and patch plastering
- Gates (repair, replacing broken hinges, fitting padbolts and padlocks)
- Fitting curtain rails and blinds and replacing light bulbs
- Drainage works (e.g. unblocking sinks or gullies) and small heating and plumbing issues (e.g. bleeding radiators, replacing taps and tightening washers, attending to leaking toilets)
- Internal doors (e.g fitting door furniture, security measures and draught-proofing)
- Furniture repair (and small flat pack assembly) and internal joinery (e.g. replacing doors, erecting shelving and re-fixing loose floorboards)
Most types of minor repair and small jobs are covered and the services of our staff are completely free (you will pay for materials only).
We will source the materials for you if you are unsure what’s needed for the job. The HandyHelp service is available to any over sixty in Manchester regardless of income. The HandyHelp service is available as many times as you need it – you don’t only get one “go”!
