Grant Applications

Applying for grants can be very daunting but do not be put off – we might be able to help. We can visit you at home and explain the criteria for the relevant grant and assist with filling in the application form.

Our experienced Caseworkers can give free and confidential advice on whether or not you are eligible for Trafford Borough Council’s Home Owner Grant (available to assist with funding essential home repairs). Availability of the grant changes from year-to-year and demand is high. We can make enquiries on your behalf and support you with all stages of the application process.

Warm Front is a government-funded scheme which provides grants to make your home healthier and more energy-efficient. Warm Front Grants can provide packages of insulation and heating improvements up to the value of £3500 (or £6000 where oil, low carbon or renewable technologies are recommended). You can apply for this directly yourself but we are happy to offer you advice or assistance with form-filling.

If you are disabled then a Disabled Facilities Grant (DFG) could help you to adapt your home to meet your needs. Contact us for advice or apply to Trafford Town Hall via an Occupational Therapist at the One Stop Resource Centre.
