Local older people’s charity Manchester Care & Repair have been chosen to deliver a new service for older people in Manchester. Silverlinks will help people address the impact of life’s upheavals, such as the death of a partner or the onset of a disability by providing people with similar experiences to offer an impartial listening ear as well as practical advice. It will encourage people to think and plan ahead, to consider housing and care needs later in life.
